- 107704 Morning Song (9310281077044)
I spent my childhood and adolescence in the small town of Riberalta in my beloved Bolivia. Being a sylvan place in the Amazon region, dawn arrives early and at 5 am it is already light and the birds can be heard singing their morning tunes. Through my work I try to demonstrate the value of observing toucans, macaws, herons and other exotic birds in their natural environments enjoying their freedom.
- 107703 May Morning (9310281077037)
All my childhood and adolescence were spent in the small town of Riberalta in my beloved Bolivia. A sylvan place in the Amazon region, the month of May is the best month for weather, being the middle of autumn in Bolivia, with fresh and bright mornings. Dawn arrives early: at 5 am it is already light and one can contemplate the tranquility of the rivers and the colourful flight of the macaws starting their day.Through my work I try to demonstrate the value of observing toucans, macaws, herons and other exotic birds in their natural environments enjoying their freedom.
- 107701 Parrots with Watermelon & Mangos (9310281077013)
Macaws are always in pairs and they are monogamous birds, that is, they only reproduce with one partner throughout their lives, so if they lose their partner they never reproduce again. As a result they are always at risk of extinction. Mangoes and watermelons are exotic fruits from warm climates and are favorites of the macaws.
- 107702 Tropical Jungle (9310281077020)
This picture was used for the cover of the book ‘Mexico: A Light to the World’ which is distributed to other countries to demonstrate the riches of beautiful Mexico. Although I am Bolivian I have spent many years in Mexico and consider it my home. In this work I wanted to represent some of the attractions of Mexico, such as the Mayan architecture of the Temple of the Inscriptions; characters of the colourful Mexican fauna such as toucans, macaws, quetzals and flamingos: also the beauty of the country’s flora, such as Calla lilies and orchids; and the flavor and colour of its fruits.
