Lucky Bay is one of the spectacular beaches of Cape Le Grand National Park. The white sand and turquoise water of this sheltered bay make it an idyllic spot for beachgoers, or anyone who loves natural beauty. As I was walking down a path between the dunes towards the beach, I marveled at the diversity of the vegetation that forms a carpet to stabilize the sand dunes. I thought it would make a beautiful window to draw people into this tranquil scene. For me, this is one of the most beautiful beaches in Australia. And as Western Australia is a huge state, with a relatively small population, so you can often have wonderful locations like this all to yourself.
